VIP access to the Stage Finish on the Col du Grand Colombier
Today’s Tour de France stage will no doubt blow the peloton apart and could well be the decisive stage of this year’s race. The final 75km are absolutely brutal with 3 of the steepest climbs in the Alps coming in quick succession. This will be one for the climbers so watch out for Egan Bernal making a move today, and keep in mind that Thibaut Pinot knows these climbs really well, having won here in the past in the Tour de L’Ain.
We’ve secured access to the VIP Tribune located at the Summit Finish on the Col du Grand Colombier - and to get there we’ll enjoy a spectacular ride, following the race route over the Col du Grand Colombier. The climb will be lined with thousands of passionate Tour de France fans ready to cheer our group all the way to the Finish Line.
A magnificent ride today with 2 spectacular climbs on the route. From the hotel we head straight up into the mountains above Lake Annecy. Our first climb is Mont Semnoz which was the final climb in the 100th edition of the Tour de France. The views of Lake Annecy off to our left as we climb are simply stunning- and will hopefully take your mind off the steep pitches on this HC climb.
From Semnoz we head into the Massif des Bauges Natural Park which is a real playground for road cyclists. Quiet roads, beautiful scenery and lots of climbs make this a firm favorite with local cyclists. After 45 km we start our second climb to the Col des Pres. From here it’s downhill to our hotel in Challes and the end of a magnificent day on the bike.

After waving goodbye to the peloton as they head out on the 164km route to Villard de Lans, we’ll head back to our hotel and get ready for our own ride. On the program today we have the HC climb to Mont Granier, a tough climb which last featured in the Tour de France in 2012.

Private Viewing on the final climb to the Col de la Loze
A fantastic Tour de France experience today with the last 40km taking place on the actual race route so excitement and TDF atmosphere guaranteed.
We’ll ride from the hotel and head along a beautiful rolling road through the foothills of the Bauges mountains to Albertville. We’ll continue along the valley until we reach Moutiers and the start of the massive Col de la Loze, rising to 2300m after 21.5km of climbing at almost 8%. The Col de la Loze is a newly paved road, open only to cyclists and first-time ever in the Tour de France!
Our Logistics Team will have set up our Race-Viewing Hospitality Marquee on the Col de la Loze so you can enjoy the wild Tour de France scene from the comfort of our Marquee. Food, drinks, and satellite TV race coverage will keep you entertained as we wait for the peloton to approach.

We’ve secured access to the VIP Tribune located at the Finish - and to get there we’ll enjoy a spectacular ride, following the race route over the Col des Glieres (with a 2km gravel section at the summit!). The descent from the Glieres takes us into La Roche sur Foron where the routes will be lined with thousands of passionate Tour de France fans ready to cheer our group over the Finish Line.
Col de la Croix de Fer
Our most challenging ride of the week with 2 major climbs to conquer: the legendary Col de la Croix de Fer and the Pas de la Confession climb through Vilard-Reculas and up to Alpe d’Huez.
We’ll start the ride with the 14km descent from Alpe d’Huez to Bourg d’Oisans followed by 8km of flat valley roads before we reach Rochetaillée. The Croix de Fer lies 31km up the road at an average grade of almost 6% so be careful to pace yourself on this challenging cimb. We’ll turn around at the summit and head back down to Allemond where we start the beautiful climb to Pas de la Confession, the back-way into Alpe d’Huez.
Today is your opportunity to test yourself on the most famous of all climbs - the 21 switchbacks that lead to Alpe d’Huez!
Our hotel is located at the top of this famous mountain so we’ll start the day with the descent through Vilard Reculas to Allemond. From Allemond it’s a short ride to Bourg d’Oisans and the start of the climb to Alpe d’Huez. This time round we’ll only climb the first 3km before turning off in La Garde onto one of the most spectacular roads in the Alps: the panoramic road to Le Freney.
From Le Freney, we’ll head back down the valley to Bourg d’Oisans. This time we’ll climb all of the iconic 21 switchbacks to Alpe d’Huez. Enjoy!
